REQUIREMENTS
Racing karts are cleaned and serviced after every race in order to keep their service life and readiness for use at the highest level.
In this specific case, the task was to clean the engine and brake components on the racing karts. In addition, oily and sooty residues had to be removed from sensitive mechanical and electronic parts.
CONVENTIONAL METHODS
Until now, the parts were cleaned with high-pressure cleaners, which repeatedly led to damage. In addition, the cleaning result was often so poor that manual reworking was needed, which involved considerable time and therefore cost.
The manual re-cleaning also used considerable amounts of chemicals (A1 brake cleaner or cold washing table), which in the long run was costly and harmful to health and the environment.

OUR SOLUTION
The 1000-class low-pressure hot-water cleaning devices were the ideal and cost-effective solution here: low pressure of just 7.5 bar carries the contamination away without damaging sensitive components. At the same time, the high temperatures of 95 °C achieve maximum cleaning effect, so that cleaning can be done quickly and efficiently.
- Fast, efficient work – considerable time savings and markedly better quality than manual cleaning at a cold washing table or with a high-pressure cleaner
- Excellent cleaning results nonetheless, thanks to high temperatures of up to 95 °C.
- No damage to sensitive parts, thanks to low pressure of 3 – 7.5 bar
- No, or at most very few, chemicals
- Low investment, no separate wash rooms, low running costs
YOUR BENEFITS
- Efficiency/quality: enormous time savings with fast, thorough cleaning at the same time:
- High temperature and sufficient pressure enable fast, complete cleaning in just a few minutes.
- Ideal access even to hard-to-reach spots, thanks to various lances and nozzles.
- No damage to sensitive parts, such as the aluminium finned radiators.
- The devices are mobile and self-sufficient and need very little space; no dedicated wash rooms required. Cleaning is possible directly on the kart or in the workshop.
- The devices are versatile and ideal for parts cleaning of all kinds.
- Minimal splash-back, no droplet clouds, no aerosols – making them ideal for use in the workshop.
- No solvents or VOCs (volatile organic compounds): the cleaning medium is hot water with no, or minimal, added alkaline cleaning agent. The cleaning medium can be reused many times over.
- Hence minimal costs for procurement and disposal, and easy on health and the environment.
- Considerably more pleasant, faster and more efficient work than by hand.
- Occupational and environmental protection: no chemicals means greater environmental compatibility, greater workplace safety and significantly lower costs.
- In summary: exceptionally low investment, hardly any space required, minimal running costs – but high efficiency, first-class cleaning quality and a broad range of uses.
