Cleaning machines – fast, thorough and gentle on materials

In industrial manufacturing, machine maintenance determines product quality, equipment lifespan and workplace safety. One of the most important building blocks here is regular machine cleaning. The low-pressure hot-water cleaning method from ph-cleantec works with hot water or cooling lubricant – without high pressure and without aggressive chemicals.

Why it matters

Why is machine cleaning so important?

Oils, greases, chips and cooling lubricants significantly impair how machines function. Insufficient cleaning leads to increased wear, higher maintenance costs and unplanned production downtime – and reduces the quality of the manufactured products.

What is more, dirty machines become a breeding ground for bacteria, yeasts and fungi, which not only impair machine performance and the quality of the cooling lubricant, but also endanger the health of employees.

Machine before and after cleaning

What really counts

  • Thoroughness – reaching and cleaning even hard-to-access areas.
  • Speed – cleaning large machines without days of downtime.
  • Material protection – safeguarding electronics, sensors, cables and seals.
  • No foreign substances – no detergents, no brake cleaner, no food residues that damage the cooling lubricant.
  • Workplace safety – no chemicals, no risk of injury for the staff.

The limits of conventional methods

  • Manual cleaning: very time-consuming, does not reach every area and carries a risk of injury.
  • High-pressure cleaning: can damage machines and materials and wash out lubricants; contaminants are merely spread over a wide area, or temporary enclosures become necessary.
  • Chemicals: can attack the cooling lubricant or require residue-free draining and disposal.
Why ph-cleantec?

The advantages of the method at a glance

Low-pressure hot-water cleaning combines gentle technology with high efficiency.

Using your own cooling lubricant

Cleaning with the cooling lubricant or cutting oil straight from the machine – simple, fast and without introducing any foreign substances.

Low pressure (3–14 bar)

Reliably removes contamination while protecting sensitive machine parts.

Medium heated to 95 °C

Dissolves greasy and oily contamination without attacking the cooling lubricant.

High efficiency

A tool magazine with 60 stations is cleaned in under an hour.

Greater workplace safety

No need to reach directly into the machine – less risk of injury.

Easier on the operator

Rinsing off is more pleasant and safer than scrubbing by hand.
