Why is tram cleaning technically demanding?
Tram running gear has a complex design: exposed cables, seals, sensors and moving joints are sensitive to conventional high-pressure cleaners or aggressive cleaning agents. At the same time, stubborn residues accumulate in urban areas:

- Oil mist from hydraulic systems
- Salt, grit and fine dust
- Insect remains, leaves and road residues
