REQUIREMENTS

In industry, a multitude of filters is used for the most varied applications: air filters, oil filters and hydraulic-oil filters, grease filters, soot filters, mesh filters, expanded filters, electrostatic filters, fabric filters, baffle separators, lamella separators, demisters and stainless-steel demisters, expanded-metal mesh filters, and other filters right up to the air conditioner.

Common to all is that cleaning is often particularly challenging, on the one hand because of the complex and in some cases delicate surfaces, on the other hand because of the mostly very oily and stubborn contamination.

Washing machines often do not reach the inner zones, high-pressure cleaners would destroy the delicate surfaces. Many companies therefore outsource this task to third parties.

OUR SOLUTION: CLEANING WITH LOW-PRESSURE HOT-WATER TECHNOLOGY

The ph-cleantec low-pressure hot-water units represent a perfect solution for cleaning filters soiled with oils and dusts. The process is exceptionally fast and efficient:

Thanks to the high water temperature of up to 95°C, oily contamination is loosened particularly quickly, and rinsed out and off without any problem by the low pressure of 7.5 to 14 bar, without damage occurring to the filters. Splash-back effects are avoided by appropriate protective caps on the spray tool.

With the help of various nozzles, even demanding surfaces, e.g. the typical grids of the air filters, can be cleaned effortlessly. This also applies to sensitive components in the interior, such as the tungsten wires of electrostatic filters. Even four-fold folded filters can be cleaned efficiently after brief soaking, possibly with the addition of an alkaline cleaner.

Use in the workshop is unproblematic: there are no droplet clouds and no aerosols, people and the environment are not affected.

Alkaline cleaners can be dosed in, but then only small quantities are needed, so that the costs for chemicals – if any – are also kept within tight limits.

For filter cleaning, the units of the SR family are a good choice, combined with the appropriate nozzles. The units are mobile and self-contained, and are therefore ideal when the filters are distributed over a large workshop, such as air filters of air-conditioning systems or grease filters in production halls with several machine tools.

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Efficiency/quality: Fast and thorough cleaning, because of the high working temperature of up to 95°C especially with oily and dusty contamination.
  • No damage: Thanks to the low pressure, even sensitive parts such as the tungsten wires in electrostatic filters can be cleaned.
  • Mobility: Units are self-contained and can be pulled within the workshop from machine to machine and thus from filter to filter.
  • Environment/chemicals: If at all, only very little chemicals are needed; this spares the environment, increases occupational safety and lowers costs.
  • Economy: Considerably less working time when cleaning, as well as for travel and transfer times; less chemicals; depending on the type and number of filters, even cheaper than third parties on a full-cost basis.

  • Overall: Comparatively low investment, hardly any running costs, high efficiency and quality.
