REQUIREMENTS
Electrostatic filter systems serve to clean the exhaust air of cooling-lubricant- or oil-based machine tools of solid and liquid particles by means of high voltage. This in turn serves
- employee and environmental protection, as well as
- cleanliness in production, i.e. as the company’s calling card.
To maintain value and ensure flawless functioning, the manufacturers recommend thorough cleaning at contamination-dependent intervals (4–12 weeks).
What is needed is therefore a fast, cost-effective, effective and damage-free cleaning of the pre- and after-filters, the ionisers and collectors, without damaging sensitive parts such as the tungsten wires of the ionisers.

PREVIOUS TECHNOLOGY
High-pressure cleaners would lead to damage to the collector plates as well as the tungsten wires of the ionisers. Correspondingly large ultrasonic systems with the flooding principle, on the other hand, are exceptionally cost-intensive. Both systems are generally not usable on site, i.e. at the machines; rather, the electrostatic filters have to be removed and sent to a service provider or taken to a wash room and cleaned there.
OUR SOLUTION
In contrast, the ph-cleantec low-pressure hot-water process offers a cost-effective and effective alternative: electrostatic filters can be removed on site and cleaned directly in the parts-cleaning tray of the SR units.
Through the high temperatures of up to 95°C, oils are loosened without any problem, and particles are transported away effortlessly thanks to the low pressure, without damage occurring.
This saves time through eliminated assembly and travel times, and is efficient, since the electrostatic filters can be reinstalled directly instead of being sent away or cleaned centrally.
Even hard-to-reach spots can be reached without any problem, and even sensitive elements such as the tungsten wires can be cleaned free of damage and generally without the addition of chemicals.

YOUR BENEFITS
- Efficiency/quality: Fast and thorough cleaning, especially of oily contamination, because of the high working temperature of up to 95°C. With our electrostatic-filter nozzle SR-ES, easy cleaning between the plates.
- No damage: Thanks to the low pressure, even sensitive parts such as the tungsten wires in the electrostatic filters can be cleaned.
- Mobility: Units are self-contained and can be pulled within the workshop from machine to machine and thus from filter to filter.
- Occupational and environmental protection/chemicals: If at all, only very little chemicals are needed; this spares the environment, increases occupational safety and lowers costs.
- Economy: Considerably less working time when cleaning, as well as for travel and transfer times; less chemicals; depending on the type and number of filters, even cheaper than third parties on a full-cost basis.
