REQUIREMENTS

Brass wind instruments are highly sensitive and are therefore cleaned almost exclusively by hand in a laborious and lengthy process. The various individual parts such as the valves and valve slides, mouthpiece and lead pipe, as well as all the curved parts such as the tuning slide, pose particular challenges. In doing so, damage must be avoided in any case.

OUR SOLUTION

The ph-cleantec low-pressure hot-water process offers an efficient and at the same time cost-effective alternative here. The low pressure of between 3 and 7.5 or 3 and 14 bar is sufficient to rinse out even curved parts without any problem. Through the high temperatures of up to 95°C, contamination is loosened and transported away.

With special nozzles such as the flexible nozzle or the needle nozzle, interiors too can be cleaned perfectly.

Nothing is damaged in the process, and the method can be used in the workshop without people or the environment being affected. In addition, (expensive and environmentally harmful) chemicals can be dispensed with, since the cleaning effect is achieved via the high temperature.
